The location is situated very near to main attractions like Elephant Junction, Tiger Reserve, etc.. The service was excellent, the staffs were very kind, gave lots of suggestions on travel. Food was also good.

My stay at Elephant En Route in Thekkady was pleasant and comfortable. The front desk staff was very cooperative and courteous, making check-in and requests smooth throughout my stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and feature wooden interiors that beautifully reflect the charm of a traditional Kerala house as well as scenic forest view. The in-house food was tasty, with a good balance of local flavors and quality. The ambiance of the property is cozy and welcoming, making it a nice retreat after a day of sightseeing. The location is a key highlight—very close to popular attractions like the elephant ride, jeep safari, and traditional Kalaripayattu and Kathakali performances. However, I found the pricing for some activities exactly next to the hotel on the higher side. For a better value, I recommend heading to the Jeep Stand next to Tusker Café, where you can get a jeep safari for around ₹2,000 for a 3.5-hour off-road experience—highly worth it for the adventure and scenic routes. Overall, a great place to stay with authentic Kerala vibes and a convenient location, just be mindful when booking excursions.
